Mentor and Review Process

The assessment explicitly requests a mentor/coach and regular one-on-one feedback. The IDR therefore uses frequent evidence review rather than occasional end-of-course evaluation.

Mentor / coach: To be assigned by Skunkworks Academy

Review cadence

  • short self-review every week;
  • 30-minute one-on-one review every two weeks during the initial sprint;
  • formal Day 30, Day 60 and Day 90 reviews;
  • quarterly review after the sprint.

Feedback rule

Feedback is complete only when the next revision shows what changed. Review comments should not accumulate as passive notes.

Communication-development emphasis

Because the assessment identifies communication as an area needing additional support, every second mentor review should include one short verbal explanation or written incident summary and one specific improvement target.
